Materials:
Constructed from Fruitwood which was extensively used in provincial furniture designs in the 18th & 19th centuries, primarily in France and England.

Era:
19th Century, circa 1860.

Condition:
In rustic antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use including knocks, scuffs and age related splits. Structurally sound but evidence of historic woodworm throughout which is no longer active. There is a split to the inside of the drawer as pictures and a small piece of moulding is missing from the base of one of the legs, also pictured. There has been an historic repair to the center part of the cross stretcher.

Use coasters, place mats, and protective pads to prevent water rings, heat damage, or scratches.

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges.

To maintain the waxed finish, use a high-quality furniture wax in a shade that matches the exisiting patina.

Avoid dragging items across the surface and ensure heavy objects are lifted rather than pushed.
