In good condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use, this piece has been sympathetically restored to a very high standard. Historical worm which is no longer active. The legs on this piece have been "tipped" which means the bottoms of the legs are later additions. This was a common practice in the 19th Century a tables would have stood on damp stone floors, leading to their legs absorbing moisture and wearing away easier - to remedy this, wooden extensions were often applied to prolong the life and durability of the piece.
