This chest is arranged with four drawers in a two over two layout, graduating in depth with the deepest at the base. It retains its original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons.

The piece sits on a plinth base with a decorative cut-out to the front and is finished with moulded edges to the top. It is sealed in a clear wax to enhance its natural pine patina.

A simple yet attractive chest that would work well in the hallway or living room as a sideboard for storing household essentials, or in the bedroom for storing clothes and linens.
