A large antique pine chest from the early 20th century featuring hinged lid and two internal storage compartments.

• Raised on block feet

Generously sized, the  lift up lid opens on a hinge to reveal expansive space for storage with two divided sections.

Raised on simple block style feet with decorative panelled sides, it has ealed in an antique pine wax to enhance the exisiting patina.

A useful and characterful storage solution - solid, well-made and full of country house charm.

Condition

In good condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include age related knocks, scuffs and splits. Display signs of historic woodworm which is no longer active and has been retreated as a precaution. Wood loss to the feet as shown in photographs.
