A five-drawer Victorian pine chest of drawers from the 19th century with a stripped pine surface, raised on a simple plinth base.

• Five drawers in a two-over-three layout
• Decorative brass drawer handles
• Raised on a plinth base
• Stripped pine surface

The chest is fitted with five drawers arranged in a two-over-three formation, with the drawers increasing in depth from top to bottom and finished with decorative brass handles. The pine has been stripped back to the wood, having previously been painted white, and the piece stands on a simple plinth base.

A practical option for use as bedroom drawers, or placed in a hallway or living space to provide useful storage.

Width 111 cm x Depth 52 cm x Height 105.5 cm

Condition

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include age related knocks and scuffs. The handles, are not original to the piece but are of the same age - it is still possible to see the outline of the previous handles as per the pictures. May display signs of historic woodworm, which is no longer active and has been retreated as a precaution.
