An elegant antique pine washstand dating to the late 19th century, with a shaped gallery back, two drawers and a lower shelf.

The washstand has a shaped gallery back running around the back and sides, with two small drawers below, each fitted with brass swan neck handles and offering storage for smaller items. It is raised on two shaped supports, joined by a lower shelf and finished with ball feet.

Sealed in an antique pine wax to protect the surface and highlight the natural grain of the wood, this is a practical and versatile piece that works well as a console table in a hallway or living room, or as a dressing table in a bedroom.

Condition

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include age related knocks and scuffs. The finnial decoration on the left side has a piece missing. May display signs of historic woodworm which is no longer active and will have been retreated as a precaution.
