An English Edwardian oak armchair (circa 1900-1909) featuring a spindle back and upholstered velvet seat.

• Spindle back with decorative floral carving to the top rail
• Studded velvet seat
• Shaped armrests
• Decorative ring-turned front legs

This beautiful armchair features a warm oak patina and is formed with sweeping armrests and decorative ring-turned front legs, joined by lower stretchers at the base. The seat is upholstered in mustard-coloured velvet and finished with stud detailing.

This armchair would work well in the hallway as occasional seating. It would also make a great accent chair in the bedroom.

Dimensions

Width 56 cm x Depth 51 cm x Height 93 cm. Seat Height 46 cm.

Condition

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include knocks, scuffs and age related splits. May displays signs of historic woodworm which is no longer active and will have been retreated as a precaution.
