A solid and well-proportioned pieces with the simple lines offering a good amount of storage across five drawers which are set out in a two over three arrangement. Each drawer is fitted with original round wooden knobs, some of which retain a decorative mother of pearl inlay at the centre.
The whole piece is raised on a simple plinth style base and has been sealed with a pine furniture wax to enhance the exisiting patina - practical and full of charm, this chest works well for clothes or linens in a bedroom, or as a sideboard in a hallway or living space.
