The chest is fitted with decorative brass handles to all four drawers and is topped with a shaped gallery back to prevent items falling behind the piece. It stands on turned tulip bun feet, giving it height, and the pine has a stripped patina, having previously been painted in a cream chalk finish.

A practical option for use in a bedroom for storing clothing, in a hallway for keeping household items tucked away, or placed along a wall in a living space for use as a sideboard.

Dimensions

Width 94 cm x Depth 49 cm x Height 103 cm. Height to top of drawers 79 cm.

Condition

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include age related knocks and scuffs. This piece displays signs of historic woodworm, particularly to the feet which is no longer active and have been retreated as a precaution.
