This practical ash chest of drawers dates from the early 20th century. It features three deep, long drawers that graduate in depth, each completed with simple, round wooden knobs. The piece is characterised by a gallery back and a shaped plinth base.

A useful storage piece, ideal for storing clothes and linens in a bedroom, or for use as a sideboard in a living room or hallway.

Dimensions

Width 84 cm x Depth 53 cm x Height 85.5 cm. Height to top 75.5 cm.

Condition

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include knocks, scuffs and age related splits. May display historic signs of woodworm which is no longer active and has been retreated as a precaution. Some wood-loss to the back edges as shown in photographs. This piece was originally painted in a white chalk paint, this has been stripped back but some remnants still remain.
