A four drawer antique pine chest of drawers from the early 20th century, with brass swan-neck handles.

The chest has two smaller drawers across the top with two full-width drawers below, all finished with brass swan-neck swing handles. It has a beautiful light pine patina throughout which has been sealed with a clear wax, and stands on a plinth base with a decorative cut-out detail to the front.

A versatile storage piece that works well in the bedroom for storing clothing or linens. It is equally useful in a hallway or on a landing for everyday storage, or used in the living room as a small sideboard or console table.

Condition

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include some fading and scratches to the painted details. Displays signs of historic woodworm as shown in photographs, this is no longer active and has been retreated as a precaution.
