This piece is scratch built, meaning it would have been made by hand for a specific use, using whatever materials were available at the time. As a result, it is constructed from mixed timber and has a more rugged design.

It's two drawers are useful for storing smaller items, with a small cupboard beneath that is accessed via a hinged drop-down door. The whole piece is sealed in a rustic pine wax to protect and enhance the existing patina.

A unique piece that would make a great bedside table in the bedroom, or an end table in the hallway or living room.

Condition

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include age related splits, knocks and scuffs. Displays signs of historic woodworm which is no longer active and has been retreated as a precaution.
