Originally made for use in a working mill, this is a substantial table built to a good scale.
The poplar top has been scrubbed to a pale, raw finish, while the pine base retains its original ochre paint in a warm, muted tone. The chunky square legs are joined by a low-slung H-shaped stretcher for stability, with a single drawer fitted to the front.
A practical and versatile piece that works particularly well as a kitchen preparation table or central island. Paired with benches, it makes a generous dining table with seating for at least eight.
