This beautiful desk is made from cherrywood, a timber highly prized for its warm honey tone and smooth grain — a genuinely desirable wood that is increasingly hard to find.
The layout features three drawers across the top and three down each side, centred around a recessed kneehole cupboard with an internal shelf. All nine drawers retain their original brass Aesthetic Movement handles - distinctive drop pendants that date the piece to between 1870 and 1900.
