19th Century Antique Pine Housekeepers Cupboard

SKU: JC01038

An antique Victorian pine housekeeper’s cupboard dating from the 19th century, finished in softly distressed dusky pink paint.

Housekeeper’s cupboards were traditionally found in the kitchens or dining rooms of larger Victorian homes, serving as practical storage for table linens, crockery, and everyday essentials.

The top section offers a two-door cupboard with a working lock and key, opening to reveal internal shelving while the base consists of four drawers in a two over two arrangement with painted wooden knobs.

The entire piece is raised on traditional bun feet with an overhanging cornice to the top.
