The “WD” stamp on the back indicates these tables were originally commissioned for the War Department (now the Ministry of Defence), adding a unique historical touch.

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include age related splits, knocks and scuffs. There is staining to the interior of the shelves as shown in photographs.
