A Victorian pine kitchen prep table from the 19th century.
The table is beautifully constructed with a three-plank top and traditional cleated ends (a joinery detail designed to prevent the boards from warping). Raised on four turned legs, it offers two drawers with original wooden knobs.
Originally, tables such as this were found in the kitchens of larger Victorian households, used for preparing food.
A functional and decorative piece, full of character and well suited to both modern and traditional interiors.
Width 145 cm x Depth 73 cm x Height 75 cm; Height from floor to apron 56.5 cm.
In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use. May show signs of historic woodworm which we will retreated as a precaution upon entry to our showrooms.
