18th Century Antique Oak Livery Cupboard

A superb 18th century oak livery cupboard with excellent scale and original period details.

Constructed from solid oak, the upper section features two panelled doors with original iron hinges, opening to reveal a full-height interior fitted with wooden hanging pegs and a later rail. The lower section is hollow, designed to accommodate longer garments. Raised on bracket feet, the piece is finished with an overhanging cornice and traditional panel work throughout.

A versatile Georgian piece, suited to use as a hallway cupboard, freestanding wardrobe, or to be adapted into shelved storage.

Width 130 cm x Depth 49.5 cm x Height 169 cm.

In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include knocks, scuffs and age related splits. Displays signs of historic woodworm which is no longer active and has been re-treated as a precaution. Breaks down into two parts for moving.
