19th Century Antique Glazed Turkish Pot

An antique Turkish pot or jar featuring a deep brown glaze to the top and two carrying handles.

It features a drainage hole to the base.

This rustic piece, handmade by Turkish artisans was originally designed for storing water, wine, milk, or olive oil but these days makes a fantastic decorative addition to the home.

Use it to display faux or dried flowers, or as a standalone decorative piece to add rustic charm and character to any space.

Condition:
In good condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use with imperfections to the stoneware and glaze as well as some chips (but no cracks).

A drainage hole has been added to this piece at a later date.

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges.
