Victorian Pine Washstand

SKU: JC01225

A Victorian pine washstand dating to the late 19th century, featuring a shaped gallery top with gently scrolled sides. This country home piece is raised on two turned front legs and two square-cut rear supports, with a lower shelf below for added storage or display.

Well-proportioned and full of quiet character, it works beautifully as a small console table, side table or dressing table. The stripped pine finish gives it a soft, natural warmth that sits comfortably in rustic or period interiors.

Width 28 cm x Depth 23 cm x Height 2.5 cm

In good condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include historic woodworm which is no longer active and has been retreated as a precaution. This piece does feature some burn marks throughout which we discovered whilst removing the chalk paint that once covered it.
